What is live illustration?

Live illustration means we create watercolour portraits of your guests during your event. Each sketch takes around 15–20 minutes and is a beautiful keepsake your guests can take home

Do you only do weddings?

No.  While weddings are our most popular bookings, we also illustrate at parties, corporate events, and private celebrations.

How long do you stay at an event?

It depends on your package. Our LOVER package is around 3 hours, Signature is 4 hours, and TIMELESS package  can be around 6 hours. We always discuss timings with you in advance to suit your day.

How many portraits can you do at one event?

On average, we complete 10–12 portraits per 2 hours. For larger guest lists, we recommend giving us a priority list of key guests to ensure no one special is missed.

What size are the portraits?

All portraits are from live illustration  are created on A5 paper (half of A4). This size is easy for guests to take home and find frames for.

What happens if you don’t finish all the portraits on the day?

Any remaining portraits will be completed in our studio and posted to you as soon as possible after the event.

What do you need from the venue?

Our setup is very simple. We only need:
   •    1 table and 2 chairs
   •    A power socket (for our light, if needed)
   •    A small space near guests (we don’t need a stage or big area)

We also bring a small stand to display finished portraits — we can send a photo in advance so you can check it matches your décor.

Do you need special lighting?

We bring our own light if the space is dimly lit, so no special lighting is required from the venue.

Do you charge travel fees?

Travel within Central Scotland is included in our packages. For events further afield, we charge 50p per mile or agree a set fee in advance.
